Adventure and athleticism take many forms. In January 2025, ultrarunner and race director Jamil Coury toed the line for a chance to win a year's supply of free burritos. The challenge: run as many miles as possible outside an Arizona restaurant. What followed was an absurd commitment to athleticism and competition that saw him run more than 730 miles. And his shoe of choice for over 600 of those miles? A single pair of the new Mount to Coast H1s.

The C1 combines a dual-layer CircleCELL™ midsole with rubberized EVA to deliver responsive cushioning, a smooth ride and the durability needed for high-mileage training and ultra-distance running.

VersaGrip™ is engineered to deliver confident traction across changing terrain, from pavement and gravel to light trails. Its 2 mm lugs provide the grip and durability to keep you moving smoothly when the road runs out and the trail begins.

A Fit Tuned to You.

The TUNEDFIT™ Dual Lacing System lets you adjust the forefoot and midfoot independently, giving you a more precise fit without compromising comfort. As your feet change over the course of a long run, you can fine-tune the fit to stay secure, comfortable and focused on the miles ahead.

The H1’s dual-zone upper combines breathable mesh with targeted reinforcement, providing comfort where you need it and added protection where the terrain demands it. It keeps the foot secure and supported without sacrificing the lightweight feel needed to move effortlessly from road to trail.
